Reconsider Mask Order

The VA Dept. of Health website indicates that Virginia is flattening the virus curve. It is unreasonable to mandate mask wearing of all Virginians, or to indicate that the citizens must wear them while working. Those who are most at risk should be cared for and protected while the majority of the population should wear masks only at the individual's discretion. Employers and businesses should not discriminate against those who are not wearing masks. Also, no one should have access to medical records without explicit consent from the individual. The CDC indicates that homemade masks may not stop virus transmission. There is research indicating that extended mask wear can be harmful to one's oxygen supply. The WHO recently announced that asymptomatic individuals might not spread the virus as much as previously thought. We need to restore our society to normal, while caring for those at risk, for the mental and physical health of our citizens and for the economic well-being of our nation. Please give serious thought to all aspects of my request.

Sincerely,

Kathryn Baltrinic
