Farm and poultry workers of Virginia are essential to the well being of the nation, state, localities, and our food table for each individual and family.  Adapting and upgrading Standards of Safety to protect these essentile workers is key to overall good health and well being.  Dangerous working conditions need improved safety rules and enforcement of the rules in order to protect overall health of the workers, and the economic effects of the families they support.  Much like in the automobile industry we find safer methods of constructing vehicles and safer products for the consumer public lessening life long injuries and deaths.

Please assure that the Emergency Temporary Standards as noted in 16 VAC 2520 are passed and funded so as to protect all of us.
