COVID-19 protection for workers in VA

I’m a resident of Alexandria city. Virginia needs to pass legislation to protect workers from COVID-19, especially since OSHA and the federal government is doing almost nothing. Science-based regulations and guidelines are a must. Worker health is vital in the realm of human rights as well as the healthy and persistent economic recovery of our state. Additionally, unemployment support for harder hit gig economy and other affected businesses needs to continue because those workers need assistance to survive until society and the economy recovers.
