Pro Regs

I am in favor of these emergency regulations. I recognize that not all people are able to work from home. I also recognize that the Governor is being urged to "re-open" Virginia, even as the number of positive COVID-19 cases continue to emerge. The research necessary to find a safe and effective vaccine is a long and arduous process, and must not be rushed. In the interim. it is prudent for Virginia citizens to do everything possible to curtail the spread of the virus, which has proven to be deadly to hundreds of thousands of people worldwide; however, there are some people who do not seem to recognize that they may be a threat to the health and lives of others, even though they may be asymptomatic. Therefore, these regulations appear to be the most effective as well as the least invasive regulations possible, as we continue to learn more about this virus, its mutations, and its nature. I support these regulations, as well as urging citizens to stay home as much as is possible. A virus cannot live without a host. The less welcoming that Virginians can behave towards this deadly virus, the sooner we will be able to return to a more normal way of life. Face coverings and clean work spaces are the very least that we can ask of our fellow citizens.
