More and more scientific studies and compilations of data are showing that COVID 19 is not the threat we thought it would be in March. The overall death rate is lower than 0.2%. The CDC data shows that adults under the age of 60 have a greater risk of dying in a car accident than dying from COVID. CDC data also lists the chance of dying in people under the age of 20 years old as 0.0%. International studies are showing that children very rarely, if ever, spread COVID to peers or to adults. Given the actual science surrounding this disease, masks are NOT necessary for the general population and certainly not for children.
