Please pass strong and enforceable regulations in order to protect all workers. Residents of Virginia and some business owners are simply not making the correct decisions to protect workers and the greater communities at large and will only do so when faced with strong and enforceable regulations. Workers have the right to be safe and work and to be notified when a coworker tests positive for Covid-19. Enforceable regulations will enable workers, other customers and our communities to feel safer and therefore will help our economy, plus of course limiting the spread of the virus. We have a serious problem here in Virginia with those who refuse to mask or distance themselves, and that makes it unsafe for workers and for others who come into contact with these people. It also further spreads the virus and delays a return to more normalcy. People are being selfish and are making poor decisions. The answer is enforceable regulations, and the consequence needs to be serious enough to be a deterrent.
