The laws pertaining to Virginia state forests should be no different than those pertaining to the rest of Virginia. Those who would commit crimes with handguns will not obey special restrictions applying to state forests anyway. Not allowing lawful concealed carry of handguns in state forests only penalizes law abiding citizens, not criminals.
