Abortion center regulations are essential for the health and safety of Virginia women and must be maintained and enforced, not weakened. The abortion industry has fought regulation for years, yet repeatedly independent inspectors find serious deficiencies, even during announced inspections. Abortion centers are not able to self-regulate. Furthermore, since abortion operates under the guise of healthcare, abortion centers must adhere to the regulatory standards of other healthcare facilities. Simply, Virginia women deserve nothing less.
Abortion is not healthcare...it is killing an innocent child. But it is legal. I [reluctantly] accept that. But there is no sense in allowing it to become dangerous for the mother too. If we are going to treat abortion like it is healthcare, than it is common sense that we should regulate it like any other kind of healthcare.
Please ensure the health and safety of all women by maintaining and enforcing the abortion center regulations. Thank you for your consideration.
