The fact that we are so advanced in this county and still fail our special needs community is heart breaking. We are fostering a community and youth who will grow up to not understand what equality means. Nobody should ever live a life feeling scared and unwanted because their mental or physical state is different than what’s the social norm. The day we become more accommodating and inclusive is when we will start to see the community and surrounding communities grow exponentially.
