As a parent, I strongly object to the proposed ban on professionals providing conversion therapy to children.  The choice of the kind of treatment my children receive is mine to make and not the State's.  If I choose to have my children treated in a particular way which corresponds to my religious beliefs, I have the legal right to do so.  That right should not be restricted by a regulation preventing professionals from providing that therapy.  To restrict my choices in this manner violates both my legal rights and my religous freedom.  Please leave the raising of children to their parents where it belongs and do not restrict the parent's ability to a free choice.
