An abortion is a full fleged significant and many times difficult operation  done when a woman's uterus is so soft that it can easily be punctured. It takes someone with skill and with the help of an operating team, nurses, nurse anesthetist or anesthesiologist. A woman's life is in the balance when we don't ensure that she is getting the proper care during an operation.

That is why abortion facilities MUST BE REGULATED AND INSPECTED just like any surgical facility to protect our young women. It makes no sense to let abortion clinics slide by with out oversight and risk killing our young mothers. I am sure a woman would rather drive 4 hours for an abortion than be killed or permanently made sterile by an incompetent abortionist.  Dr. Martha Maturi
