There is a lot of argument on this forum that therapists don't have enough experience or shouldn't perform dry needling. Physical therapists have a doctorate degree with 7 years+ of education, where they learn about the body and muscle origin, attachment, function, nerve/artery supply, etc. So the argument that therapists don't have proper training is inadequate and poorly formulated!
Dry Needling is a direct treatment of the muscle trigger point and not acupunture.
