My wife is an acupuncturist, she trained for 4 years, after already years of pre-requisites. She was in class for 30 hours a week, her homework load and outside studying during the program made any kind of social life virtually impossible. Her training was a major commitment from both of us. We sacrificed a LOT of time with each other for her great passion. Dry Needling is basically poorly trained acupuncture, and an injustice to patients that deserve more. Patients who deserve to have practitioners with ample training and due respect for the field.
