To whom it may concern: I respectfully submit to you that dry needling is simply acupuncture repackaged. The insertion of needles into the body without proper training is dangerous. This practice needs to be regulated, and fortunately it already is. It is called acupuncture. Please consider that simply changing the name of something and changing its definition does not change what is actually happening. While as an acupuncture physician I am concerned about protecting the integrity of my extensive training and my practice, my greater concern is for the safety of the general public. I thank you for your time.
