Action | Amend Regulations Following Periodic Review |

It is clear from past actions, and the abhorrent results of inspections conducted since the health and safety standards for abortion centers were implemented a couple of years ago, that the abortion industry is incapable of regulating itself, nor do the organizations that make up the industry demonstrate any realistic concern for the health and safety of their clients. They do not properly train their employees, they consistently fail to maintain their facilities at a reasonable level of cleanliness, and the high percentage of their clients who need follow-up medical care makes it obvious they are concerned much more deeply about their profit margins than about establishing adequate preparedness to take care of the predictable number of their clients who will need further medical care when their procedures produce complications. Please see to it that the health and safety standards are not eliminated, nor are changed to make them ineffective in protecting the clients.
