I do not support dry needling by poorly trained individuals. If a person has been to school for other skills it does not qualify them to do needle people. Acupuncturists have this training physical Therapists, massage therapists, Reiki masters, nutritionists and even chiropractors do not have this training. This training cannot be properly obtained in a few weeks of workshops. I think a qualifying training time would be 1000 hours. I also believe a national board should be taken just like Acupuncturists need to take should be a requirement, along with proper state licensing for this specifric skill.
