I am writing to let you know that I DISAGREE with your proposal to allow people to register to vote without answering questions about their citizenship status or felony convictions.
The right to vote the United States and the Commonwealth of Virginia is limited to those who are citizens. Citizens can have their right to vote removed when convicted of a felony.
Since the Virginia State Board of Elections is the organization that is tasked with ensuring that only eligible voter are allowed to register and to vote, this proposed change makes no sense.
I urge you not to make this change.
