I feel the extend period for food stamp pending should be eliminated as a customer that is truly in need will provide needed verifications in a timely manner.  We have so much work and so many cases to process and maintain that we don't need these cases lingering on our pending list and this would help us out a great deal.  I feel having to send the extend letter to the customer is a waist of postage and we should not have to remind them that we are still trying to help them if they let us.
