While I disagree with the choice that women make to terminate their pregnancy and take an innocent human life, I still believe that it is imperative that abortion centers be regulated and maintain at least a basic standard of sanitation and medical safety standards.It is legal for a woman to choose and abortion, exercise of that choice should not in any way endanger her or make her subject to any more potential health hazards that another surgery in an operating suite in an outpatient surgical facility. I urge the Board of Health to maintain ALL the currently adopted safety regulations, standards, and parental consent requirements with respect to facilities which provide abortions, in order to safeguard the health of all the women who use them.
