For the health and well being of women, it is essential to end the current-- and medically unnecessary-- regulations placed on clinics. Rather than improving people's lives, these regulations will only serve to close centers that provide necessary care, which includes much more than abortion services. Cancer screenings and birth control are not "conveniences" but vital for women. I urge the Commissioner and Board of Health to rewrite these politicized restrictions to reflect medical science rather than political agendas.
