Board of Health,
Being in the health profession myself and adhering to rules and regulations to assist, protect, and provide safety to all people, I am appalled that the Board of Health would give approval to the Department of Health to draft amendments to the regulations in areas that include vital aspects of basic health and safety in abortion centers involving parental consent and emergency care standards among other important regulations. I am very much against and concerned about the abortion industry in and of itself. No one in their right mind can be pro-woman and support abortion. What encourages disrespect for women any more than denying them the imperativeness of their safety" There are too many abortion providers in this state to begin with and they have a thriving business. They definitely cannot self regulate as they say they can with their blood-splattered equipment and tables, unsterilized equipment, poorly trained staff or staff with no training at all as well as other violations regarding parental consent laws and the possibility of not reporting child sexual abuse cases. With over 400 violations that have been found by the Department of Health inspections in just over 2 years, it is time to stop this type of behavior altogether.I am thoroughly ashamed that our Board of Health would have such disregard and disrespect for the safety of women and admonish you to end this now.
