End oppressive regulations

Politically-driven and religion-based regulations have no place in any medical process.  Scientific evidence has demonstrated that care at women's health centers is safe and appropriate.  Women must be able to receive medical procedures such as first trimester abortions without interferrence by politicians, inappropriate and unnecessary regulations that target women's health centers (these regulations do not apply to facilities/doctor's offices where other procedures are performed e.g. dermatologic procedures), or threats from religious fanatics. These oppressive regulations are not based on published scientific data, but instead were generated as a way to limit a woman's right to choose. As a physician, I support elimination of restrictive regulations that are not medically-based. Please ensure that any regulation of medical procedures be based in published science, and are not used to target a specific group or procedure.
