I wish to state for the public record that I support the Board of Health decision to amend the restrictions on women's health care centers. Women do not need special politically motivated control over their reproductive health. Women are full citizens of the Commonwealth and deserve to have access to the health care they and their doctors deem to be necessary. The restrictions on women's health care centers were designed to cause centers to close and restricted access to legal and medically necessary care for many low-income women.
