Women are disproportionately affected by these new rules. Why? b/c women  live longer and many long ago gave up driving and did not renew their photo ID drivers licenses. Women are also more likely to change their names through out the life cycle , so proving  primary citizenship  to get alternate valid ID requires multiple documents. I mean, does your mother know where her birth certificate is ?! ,nevermind her marriage certificate, divorce papers, second marriage certificate, etc, which would all be needed to tie her back to her birth certificate, proving citizenship? This law undermines the 19th Amendment, which to date, is the only constitutionally guaranteed rights women have that is unequivocable , and not merely loosely interpreted
