I strongly object to the proposal to limit for voting purposes IDs with an unexpired date.  One's identity does not expire, so the proposal is irrelevant for voting purposes.  As an older voter I see this as diminishing a citizen's right to vote.  We need to enhance citizen participation in our democracy, not inhibit it.
