I am registering a plea for your consideration to allow expired driver licenses to be utilized as identification for voting in all elections in the state of Virginia. I am 81 years old and one day I will be unable to drive. I dread that moment but take satisfaction that my license will still serve a bedrock purpose in exercising my right to vote rather than be placed in the trash. It will also save the State of Virginia considerable sums of money in issuing new means of identification.
