The partisan effort to deprive voters of their right to vote is very depressing given the total lack of evidence there is significant voter fraud even in Texas.  Particularly with younger individuals showing less interest in getting driver's licenses, making that form of ID necessary is likely to deprive them of their interest in voting.  Their ID is likely to be what their employer issues.  Eliminating the use of expired licenses and other expired but acceptable IDs challenges the elderly to go to the effort to obtain an acceptable form of ID.
