I strongly oppose the proposed regulation that would prohibit voters from using expired Virginia driver’s licenses and U.S. passports for voting. The current regulation permits voters who no longer drive, such as the elderly, to use their expired Virginia driver’s license to vote. If the proposed revision passes, these voters will not have acceptable photo IDs and aren’t able to drive to a general registrar’s office to get a free voter photo ID. You should be making it easier to vote not harder. What's not to understand.
