Most people commenting here seem to have no idea what they are actually commenting about. Of course, if you say the laws are "safety" and "health" laws, people will support them. They want to be safe. But the laws in question impose medical regulations that NO OTHER CLINICS that provide similarly low-risk services need to obey. As such, they are discriminatory against certain medical procedures. These regulations go well beyond what other health care providers must follow, while doing little or nothing to improve the outcome of an already safe procedure. It is the complete opposite of good medical policy. Please re-examine these laws with an eye towards actual medical expertise and scientific fact, rather than political agenda against abortions.
