Board of Health,
For the sake of womens health as they undergo a major invasive surgery, please uphold the commonsense health standards for abortion clinics. Far too many women have expected abortions to be safe only to find themselves exposed to dirty exam rooms, unsafe conditions and unsafe procedures in the event of an emergency. If I saw dried blood on an exam table before I had a mole removed, I would be horrified at the consequences to my health. There has been dried blood found after routine announced safety inspections in abortion clinics in multiple locations in Virginia. And these are facilities that are invasively putting instruments inside of womens bodies to remove fully unique living beings from the womens uteruses. That cannot be downplayed. Women should have the right to cleanliness and safety when having invasive surgery. Please uphold standards and protect womens health. Lets end this war on women. Jen Hanrahan
