Hands on clinical experience is invaluable to veterinary students and many new grads wish they had more of it. What better way to gain more experience in your field of interest than by actually getting in there and getting your hands dirty. Someone can show you a million times and you can watch just as many times, but until you actually do it yourself, you are never learning to your full capacity. With the guidance and instruction of knowledgable veterinarians by our side, we would be able to build not only our confidence levels in our own skill sets, but actually expand upon them as well. I believe this is vital in order to graduate feeling as prepared as you possibly can to practice veterinary medicine
