I support and believe the Virginia Board of Education should adopt the following amendments:

        *Give advance parental notification of sensitive material
        *Provide identification of books containing sensitive material
        *Offer alternative books
        *provide opt-out options for students who do not wish to be present in the classroom when discussions on sensitive topics may take place.

Please offer our children the freedom to choose what is appropriate content for not only their education, but also what is appropriate in regards to their value system.
