The amendment should not be passed as it shelters preventing the ability for students to learn about the real world and how it works and how events occur. Instead if the amendment is passed more children will be absent from class due to the material that they are learning in class is offensive to the parents reducing their time in classes. At least one student will be absent from every class as one thing offends at least person in one way or another.  There is no one way to prevent books from offending people.
