Anytime I want to know and discuss the work my children (four public school educated) do, I am free to read the material myself. Leave this to the localities to self determine their own needs. Some still consider desgregation and educating women as 'sensitive.' By this logic we will all be reading nothing more stimulating than soup labels and DVR instructions. All the best ideas are controversial and without a safe place to learn about opposing views, we will not have an informed electorate. This is an abuse of power over a non-issue. Let parents parent.
