I support this regulatory action. Parents should be allowed the opportunity to object to teachers providing sexually explicit material to their children. I suspect that most people would find it inappropriate if someone walked up to their child on the street and provided them sexually explicit material. I therefore find it strange that so many defend it if a teacher is the one to provide the material. Teachers aer not uniquely qualified to make such decisions. That said, the proposed regulation becomes more problematic by the inclusion of the word "sensitive." I suspect most people would find it far easier to agree on what is sexually explicit than what is sensitive.
