These decisions can and should be left at the local level of government. We elect school boards for this very purpose. If a citizen wants changes in policy regarding what literature is taught in his or her locality, let he or she vote for candidates who will implement said policy. This amendment will usurp the power of local school boards, and by extension, the will of the people themselves.
