I support the amendment requiring parental notification. This is not a matter of book banning, but moral decisions. Parents can opt their child out of sex education classes, it is your choice to participate in the pledge of allegiance. Why wouldn't you be allowed to notify parents when obvious questionable reading material is being taught in our schools. If these books were movies, they'd be rated R. Would you take your under age child to see this? NO!
