Public Schools have a responsibility to it's families to provide instructional material that is age appropriate. Any material that may be considered sensitive or questionable, should be reviewed by a specific school committee that is composed of staff and parents. Even then, If a student or parent feels the material is not appropriate for their child, they should be provided another choice for materials. This is done at Woodson High School in Fairfax.
