Please do not pass this regulation. In addition to derailing our efforts to produce America's future innovators, it will most certainly open a pandora's box of "define the words 'sensitive' and 'offensive' with classroom teachers on the receiving end left with no alternate plan of action should students/parents deem curriculum material offensive. As if wasting already limited planning time on alternative lessons and damage control is'nt reason enough to give policy makers pause, consider the message this regulation sends-"offensive" reading material is completely disposable even if it unlocks timeless jewels of wisdom.
