No more restraints!!

It is inhumane to use restraints on incarcerated women during labor and delivery. Their babies have committed no crimes and should be afforded every care and concern during birth - and this includes everything from the mom's positioning to her emotional disposition. Shackling is in no way conducive to a safe and happy delivery, and every baby is entitled to that.  Pregnant women and their babies deserve to be treated with dignity - whether they are in prison or out.  Please reverse this barbaric practice and remove these restraints!!
