It's none of governments business to oversee birth control or mandate social issues

Our founders never meant for our government to regulate a person's choice concerning reproductive rights or religious beliefs. In fact, Virginia has a Statute protecting religous freedom written by Thomas Jefferson. The authors of TARP have forgotten or chosen to ignore a basic freedom promised to us by our Constitution and our Virginia Statue of Religious Freedom.
TARP is a thinly disguised attempt to regulate religion and moral choices. It's not anybody's business what we do with our reproducive choices. Especially not our governments function to regulate morality. My beliefs are not in agreement with the authors of TARP. My beliefs are much wiser and provide for recognition of the humanity in us all. My beliefs are better, but I certainly don't want to impose my beliefs on anyone else. Just as government does not have the right to impose beliefs on the people that government serves. That was not intended to be a function of government by our Founding Fathers.
