My wife and I just recently enrolled our autistic son in Medicaid. That was confusing enough. We have just finished establishing a relationship with the consumer directed services and a different group to handle the payroll. They all have been extremely helpful in navigating the complex system of services and support while explaining it all until we clearly understood it. Beyond their services, they are also parents of special needs kids and have provided valuable insight into Medicaid as well as guidance on other benefits. This relationship provides consistency, guidance, and advocacy that cannot simply be replaced by assigning someone new.  Please protect our right to choose the providers who know us.
