Service facilitators- Freedom and ability to choose for our family !

I rely on service facilitation to navigate the complex system of services and support I need to live safely, independently, and with dignity. I currently have the right to choose my own service facilitator, and assigning a broker would take away that important choice and control over my services.

My relationship with my service facilitator is built on trust, understanding, and knowledge of my individual needs. This relationship provides consistency, guidance, and advocacy that cannot simply be replaced by assigning someone new. Having a service facilitator who knows me, understands my circumstances, and respects my needs is essential to ensuring I receive the support I deserve.

My right to choose my own provider is an essential part of my independence, dignity, and self-determination. I deserve to have a voice in decisions that directly affect my life and the services I depend on. Taking away this choice would undermine my ability to make decisions about my own care and could disrupt a trusted relationship that is vital to my well-being.

I urge you to consider the real and lasting impact this decision will have on individuals and families who depend on these services. We deserve consistency, respect, and the freedom to choose the providers who know us, understand our needs, and advocate for our best interests.

Please protect our right to choose our own service facilitators. Our independence, our dignity, and our ability to direct our own lives matter. We deserve to have a say in the services we receive and to maintain the trusted relationships that help us live safely, independently, and with dignity.
