Oxford House Pembroke

Oxford has been a vital force in my substance abuse recovery. The comradery in my house and the Oxford community has helped me hold myself accountable, be more open-minded and willing to work with others, and how to develop new ideas and routines for necessary life tasks and decisions.

Oxford has helped me to get more involved with my Oxford Chapter by doing service work, I am currently my chapter's secretary. It has also helped me to be of service in both of my AA homegroups. Oxford has also been a big supporter of my recovery and my participation allows my family and friends to witness the growth and prosperity I've gained over this last year in Oxford.

I have now been sober for a little over a year, and that's how long I have been in Oxford. This is the longest voluntary length of sobriety I have ever had and I owe Oxford so much gratitude for supporting me and giving me this necessary foundation for growth in my life.
