Oxford Houses are democratically self-governing and self-supporting under the Oxford House system. I support rules that keep people safe, but rules that require staff or assume every home is a commercial business would keep Oxford Houses from operating in Virginia, even though research shows our model gets the best results. Please change those rules, and please clarify whether house members are considered the operator." I Know I wouldn't have made it this far without Oxford providing a safe place for someone Starting there journey to recovery to make a better life for themselves.today I can say i am a productive member of society because of Oxford. And it would be a devastating blow to everyone in recovery in Virginia if that were to be taken away. I ask that you continue to find ways to continue saving/changing lives
