Re: 1.b. "The family/caregiver(s) shall be available for crisis consultation within two hours during business days." While we want a caregiver to be available in an emergency, is this realistic or fair? If so, how do we enforce it? What if they aren't available in an emergency? Would this preclude them from qualifying for services? Isn't this why we also ask for emergency contacts? We have caregivers who cannot be available while they are working. Do we drop services? If it stays in the regulations, maybe add "business days" to the definitions. Monday-Friday? If this is the case, what should their availability for crises be on non-business days and why is that different from business days? Clarification/rationale, reworking, or removal recommended here.
