I strongly oppose this petition.  It is politically motivated, without any proof, other than the unsupported claim, that these people have been harmed by males posing as females to gain an unfair advantage in sporting events.  We have seen this time and again in an effort to gin up hate against trans people.  First, the number of such real incidents is incredibly small.  Second, there is never any direct and confirmed evidence that any harm has resulted.  Instead, these claims, such as this petition is based on, are an attempt to create harmful scrutiny on all women and girls.  This is simply another act in the current culture wars and about control of a small minority that finds it difficult to defend itself from such attacks.  This petition has no right or business being adopted in the State of Virginia!
