Trans rights are human rights. To allow this reactionary cruelty into our Commonwealth puts every single Virginian at risk. The attacks on trans rights are attacks on freedom, self-determination, and public safety. This is an attempt to police gender expression in such a way that anyone who appears even slightly non-conforming will be in danger of discrimination and violence - we are already seeing it happen all over the country. That the individuals pushing these types of bills and laws are willing to directly throw a single digit number of children under the bus while opening numerous other people to potential harm speaks to their complete separation from reality. Please shut this nonsense now and protect our trans kids.
