I strongly oppose this petition. It is not about keeping women safe but about controlling them and using trans people as pawns in a culture war that has no place in our government. When less than one percent of our population identifies as transgender, using trans people as scapegoats for the violence and misogyny that occurs every single day against women by BIOLOGICAL MALES who identify overwhelmingly as MALE is ludicrous and would be laughable if it wasn’t so incredibly harmful. This kind of bigotry puts an already vulnerable population at ever greater risk. Please throw this ridiculous time and money sink out and spend our precious resources on legislation that works to HELP people instead of harming them. Thank you!
