I am strongly opposed this proposed legislation. As an educator in VA, we should be encouraging all children to participate in any extracurricular activity. Our students today are socially lost, and their ability and willingness to participate in athletics is something we should be pushing all students toward, as it helps to build strong leaders.

Additionally, stop using transphobia as a guise to "protect women". Transphobia does not protect women; rather, it diverts attention from the actual causes of gender-based violence and inequality, such as misogyny, lack of access to resources, and systemic injustice. Protecting women means addressing these real issues-not scapegoating an already marginalized group. Advocacy for women's rights should be inclusive and based on facts, compassion, and a commitment to equity for all. Protect ALL women's rights!!
